Put a Missionary on the Payroll Spotlight: Roland & Beverly Improso – Things To Come Mission

Ezekiel Diet Note: Missionaries do the most important work on the planet and we act like they don’t exist.

Millions worldwide are being jettisoned by democide eugenics murder into eternal damnation like so much garbage.

Every week from now on I want to spotlight another missionary family worthy of your support starting with Things To Come Mission (TCM). There are so many I’m starting with the A’s at TCM.

Here’s my challenge, start sending any amount of money you feel led to give this missionary family every month, and watch what happens. You want to get God’s attention and blessings? Become a cheerful giver. Don’t give from leftovers; because there won’t be any. Give the first part and the last will take care of itself. God promises you will always have an abundance to give from. Put Him to the test; this is the only area in scripture God actually allows you to test Him. In Luke 6:38 KJV: Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

God wants us to obey from love, not obligation. That’s why the apostle Paul writes in 2 Corinthians 9:7“Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”

The word used for “cheerful” in 2 Corinthians 9:7 is hilaros (doesn’t have anything to do with “hilarious”). Hilaros means cheerful, without grudging, and it implies giving with a gracious attitude. Therefore, we are to give because God says so but also because we are willing and happy to do so.

Roland & Beverly Improso

Roland Improso asserts, “I’m convinced God called me to the mission field because my burning desire to go to the unreached gets stronger every day.”

Roland grew up in a Christian family and learned contentment and trust in God from a young age because his family lived from paycheck to paycheck. His family’s joy in the Lord was never affected by their material resources. Although his parents had difficulty sending their children to college, God provided for Roland to graduate from one of TCM’s Bible schools in the Philippines as well as earn a degree in Legal Management. As pastor of a Grace church for 6 years, Roland testifies, “Only by the grace of God was I able to face all the struggles in my ministry and day-to-day circumstances. Now that I am looking forward to ministering to the regions beyond, my faith in Christ has become stronger. I know I can’t do it alone.”

Beverly did not grow up in a Christian home and suffered such depression after the death of her father when she was in her early 20s, that she twice attempted suicide. The pastor of a local Grace church invited her to attend their youth fellowship and, through the services at the church, Beverly learned about salvation by grace and trusted Christ as her Savior. She met Roland and they were married 2 years later. Leaving her career in management accounting to marry a pastor and enter full-time ministry was a big step of faith! Leaving their church ministry to attend Grace Theological Center for Mission and begin deputation for the mission field has been another big step of faith! “God has proven many times that He is faithful and He is true to His Word. He is alive and I know He is working in me.” Beverly states. “I believe God has orchestrated everything I’ve been through to fulfill His purpose in my life. God was preparing me to do His mission and this is the best way of spending the rest of my life: to serve Him by going to the regions beyond and take part in reconciling people back to God.”

Roland and Beverly were originally assigned to Team Taiwan, but have been redirected to Team East Africa.
